Zeiss AxioZoom field of view
This is the largest single field of view we can image with the color camera and the largest single field of view we can image with the grayscale camera.
Note that the color camera has approximately 20% larger field of view but the effective camera chip size is not the same as the monochrome camera.

Need a larger field of view? The microscope automatically tiles and stitches large fields of view.
Tiling may be compined with Z series and extended depth of focus.
Another trick is combining a very low level of incident light with fluorescence.
To make the lighting even across the field with flat objects, you may want to use the flat field correction in the camera menu to improve image quality.

For tissues imaged by reflection, setting the light to minimize shadows and glare is important as the object moves. An LED strip is available on request. You may also want to set up a diffuse light source, such as by reflecting bright light off a piece of paper.
