We do not know how well these chambers work for TIRF, but the specifications say they should. (My only concern is the plastic slide glues to the glass causing slight warping at the edges of each well, but doubt this will be a problem-- will update this page after testing.)

The bottoms are #1.5, which is a requirement, but it is not clearly printed on the info. Every time ordering these, need to confirm that the glass is 170 to 175 um thick unless new catalog/labeling is clear about specifications.

When using these, need to be careful not to bump the vlack plastic because the seals between the chamber and slide weak, but for small volume staining, may be better with black plastic removed.
